Get this avast Uninstall Utility
Which may help
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast-uninstall-utility.html
Download this one :
http://download.cnet.com/Revo-Uninstaller/3000-2096_4-10687648.html?tag=mncol
It’ll work.
Good Luck!
I suggest you to disable your avast antivirus software from its settings.
you can stop the avast for some time by clicking the task bar
Well, you will get that option when you right click on the avast icon on the taskbar.
AVs are very comprehensive so removal tools are often required to clear all remnants. Download the Avast! uninstall utility, unplug your internet connection, then run the utility. Remember when uninstalling AV products always make sure to disconnect your internet first.
Try and scan your registry for leftovers.
Use ccleaner and free windows registry repair.

If you haven’t uninstalled it yet, then use revo uninstaller
http://www.revouninstaller.com/
When it asks you to choose an uninstallation option, choose advanced, and click next.
After it has been uninstalled, it will search for leftovers such as registry keys, and program files, and it will ask you to remove them.
Caution: when removing the leftover registry keys, select only the keys/values that are in bold, and click delete.
Then click next.
It will display some leftover program files, just click select all, and click delete.
Finally, use ccleaner to check the registry, if anything is found, just click fix selected issues.
It will ask you to back up your registry, you can just click no and continue.
Then, click on fix all selected issues, or fix selected issue if there is only one issue found.
Here is how to do it:
Download Revo Uninstaller from http://www.download.com. Use it to uninstall avast, and when you uninstall it, a window will pop up. Choose "Safe" and click next. Delete the files that are on the computer, by avast. Also, don’t shutdown automatically when install finishes. If it says that it can’t find uninstaller, just keep going from "a window will pop…"
You need to go to avast’s website and download the removal tool. Try this link:
http://support.avast.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=12
here’s what you do, download it again, then install this, revo uninstaller, it first uninstalls then scans your computer for leftover files, folders, and registry entries, use the advanced mode………

You can download best anti virus for you PC on bestantivirusreviewed.com site. This site is very helpful for Free Download Antivirus Software or online PC protection for your PC.
I have never had much of a problem removing Avast from my computer but I do remember one of the AV programs I had leaving traces on my PC and I had to manually delete the registry entries. I just don’t remember if it was Avast but, anyway. Go through the usual steps first by going to add/remove programs and uninstall it. Then, if you new anti-virus complains that Avast is still there follow these steps carefully.
Click Start button, then run button.
In the box that comes up, type "regedit" (no quotes) and press enter.
In this box that pops up, in the left column at the top, click the minus symbol next to my computer so the catagory list shrinks and then at the top, click "edit" and then click "find".
In this box that pops up, at the top, type "Avast" (no quotes) and press enter and wait a second. When something comes up, press delete, and then press F3.
Repeat this process until a box pops up and says "finished searching the registry"
Congrats, you have just manually cleaned your registry of avast traces.
Wasn’t that easy? I dunno what all the hoopla is about "Oh you can’t edit your registry without destroying your PC" Now you can say "YES I CAN"
can’t you contact its support team ?
or you can just redownload and uninstall it again.
Revo free uninstaller?

click change/remove
avast setup starts
click uninstall
