how do i get my printer to work. the problem is not my printer software . its my computer. how can i fix it?

   Hi,

   Is the printer direct connected true the parallel port?
   Is the printer connected to the USB bus?
   Is it a network printer?

   Depending of the kind of printer connection you can start troubleshooting..

   setting the printer as default won’t help… if it is an XP machine then u must go and first uninstall the driver then delete the printer and then go to the website and download any new driver for the model… maybe due to the version of driver…

   Control Panel Printers ICON
   set the installed printer as Default
