   ccleaner does fix the registry to a point – it under the issues button,

   why do you feel you need to clean the registry ?
   true – an uncleaned registry can slow your pc down but only by milliseconds,
   a registry cleaner can do lots of damage if used wrong,
   i know of no registrey cleaner that can create a .dll (its a system file)

   You use a registry cleaner if you get "missing DLL" errors or "can’t find xxx file" or other weird Windows messages.

   Eusing Free Registry Cleaner works quite well for me. I’ve been using it for years on various systems I’ve fixed.

   P.S. CCleaner does NOT clean the registry. I love this program and highly recommend it though.

   How do you know IF you need a registry cleaner?

   If you don’t have one!

   You install and uninstall programs on your computer.

   OR if you’ve ever had your computer compromised by registry affecting type mal-ware!

   The one I use is TweakNow RegCleaner. It’s very easy to use and is designed specifically for the novice so there’s little chance that you can bork your OS with it.
