Whatever kind of malware I have, it's not getting removed. I don't want to find my system restore discs or my XP disc, so is their a way through windows XP I can do a full destructive recovery? And still have XP after? Thanks!

Insert your Windows XP CD and reboot your computer. A blue screen will come up. You will need to delete all partitions, create and format a new partition, and then install XP on that partition.
I don't think uninstalling/installing deletes the malware. I agree that you should use safemode to scan and remove viruses.
Formatting is like demolishing a room, when you want to turn down a room first thing you do is get out of it. if the partition on your computer fat32 you can format a floppy with system files put on it. boot up from floppy when you get a:\ format c:/s press enter and wait do not interrupt until it is finished, you have clean drive on c:\ with system files on it only, every thing on your computer will be gone including windows, but for any reason you want to keep windows boot up the computer and UN install all the programs one by one from the add remove menu.

you don't have too! When you load your PC and start downloading the XP software it will automatically do it for you! Be careful though, all your files will be lost!!! You will receive a message asking you if you will like to proceed with the process, of course you click yes!

I don't know what type of malware or scanner or antivurus you are using, but they are more effective in safe mode.

You can't. Not without your install disc(s). Reformatting the drive will remove EVERYTHING on the drive, including XP. You will have to do a clean install from your disc afterward.
