I have web root spy sweeper and mcafee but they don’t clean it out. Its the second time I have had it. I have brought it to a computer place twice to get a system cleanout for 125bucks but I don’t want to do that a 3rd time.

Spybot – Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven’t intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don’t see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S&D is free, so there’s no harm giving it a try to see if something has invaded your computer.

Viruses are usually stored in your temporary internet folder. Start by deleting it’s contents. Also, if you know the date you got it, you can do a search in windows of all files modified on that date and delete anything suspicious. Google "Panda free online scan" and try that as well, Panda’s free scan is very good and completely up to the minute. If those don’t work, email me and I’ll send you through other places and spaces. If the entry of the virus is based on visiting a website, it comes in through Java. Email me and I’ll tell you how to delete everything that drops in from Java
You could low level format your hard drive, providing you back up everything you want to keep, and also making sure you have the Windows XP discs and serial keys. Some AV software just doesnt work, and finding a computer guru or taking matters into your own hands are sometimes the only two options. Use this as a last resort however. Google the virus you think you have to see if there is a way to eliminate it manually, before you do a full system restore
Good Luck, Zach
You must be going back to the same web site that is feeding the virus. Try a system restore. You might also see about a registery cleaner. Go to a pc forum (PC magazine has a good one) and ask there. Sometimes there is a removal tool. I would call mcafee and tell them your scan doesn’t find the virus.
try out spyware doctor
it is good
