   did you empty the recycle bin after all that eraser?
   did you go into system tools and run a defrag overnight? and I would run it again for another one or two overnights.
   RAM can make a difference but not all ram chips are compatable

   Besides what Dhruv has mentioned, I would recomment running malware bytes (malwarebytes.org). I promise that even the most careful web browser has certain undesirables lingering in their system. If you are looking to hasten boot time, I would recommend disabling programs at startup if you do not use them frequently, or at all.

   defragment the C drive, and compress the old files. You can find the compress old files in control panel, performance and maintenance and free up space on your hard disk. Although you have deleted the 18GB of pictures, they are still in the recycle bin which means that it is technically not showing on the computer, but it is taking space up. This will permanently delete the files so make sure you know what you are doing. Hope this helps

   Over time, you install new programs, uninstalled unimportant programs, update software’s, install new devices,
   download files from the web, etcetera, hence embarking all records in the registry system.
   This is normal, but it is not wise to leave it untouched.
   Once in a while, you have to check and remove files that are no longer in use to maintain the speed of your PC.
