Firefox Browser
Step 1:
Install the Firefox Internet browser. Download and save the setup file to your desktop.
Step 2:
Run the setup wizard by double-clicking the setup icon on your desktop. Follow the instructions in the setup wizard to install the program. A Firefox icon will appear on your desktop when the installation is complete.
Step 3:
Open the program by double-clicking the Firefox icon.
Step 4:
Verify the pop-up blocker option has been enabled by clicking "Tools" and selecting "Options."
Step 5:
Click the "Content" icon and check "Block pop-up windows"."
Step 6:
Click "OK" to close the Options window.
Internet Explorer Browser
Step 1:
Upgrade to Internet Explorer version 8, which includes a pop-up blocker.
Step 2:
Click "Download" on the Windows Internet Explorer download details page. Save the setup file to your desktop.
Step 3:
Run the setup wizard by double-clicking the setup icon on your desktop. Follow the instructions to install Internet Explorer.
Step 4:
Open the program by double-clicking the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop.
Step 5:
Verify the pop-up blocker is enabled by clicking "Tools," then moving the mouse cursor over the pop-up blocker option. The pop-up blocker is enabled if "Turn Off Pop-up Blocker" is not checked.
Windows Defender
Step 1:
Run an anti-spyware program to prevent spyware or malware from displaying pop-up messages. A program such as Windows Defender will scan your system.
Step 2
Download the Windows Defender setup file to your desktop.
Step 3:
Run the setup wizard by double-clicking the icon on your desktop. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 4:
Open the program by double-clicking the Windows Defender icon on your desktop. Turn on real-time protection by selecting "Tools, then click "Options" under the Settings section. Check the option for "Use real-time protection." Click "Save" and close the program.
Try adjusting the firewall settings to alert you less often. See the link below for details.
Bullguard is an Internet Security Suite (not an anti-virus). And as a "suite" it includes a firewall, which is what is causing the notifications.
Being that it is stopping these "attacks" at the network level, of course nothing would show-up in your virus scans. Most likely port scans which everybody gets.
You will need to change the firewall settings in Bullguard to "don’t alert on intrusions" or something very similar to that.
Good luck.
Get rid of Bullguard and download panda cloud free antivirus. Problem solved. It will Increase Performance too. Just to be sure download malwarebytes and scan.
Maybe Bullguard missed something…possibly a rogue.
To be on the safe side, I recommend you download this: http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/grinler/eXplorer.exe this will stop any Malicious activity from attacking your computer. Also, download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and run a full-system scan and remove any infections found.
