i don’t know if that helps but u can use CCleaner and the check wipe free space and then click run cleaner.
If you have a Dell, when you click the button that acts like a start button, there is a button on that panel that says control panel. If you click on that, you can got to programs. Once your on their, you can delete any programs you want to by right clicking and pressing delete. Hope this helped!
You could just give it to the shop and ask them to ‘re-format’ your computer which will wipe out everything on the computer. The ‘drive recovery’ on vaio, my guessing is that you have Vista on that computer, and yes they have a built in Recovery Manager. Or you could use a recovery disc to re-format your computer.
"When i right click on C: it gives me the option to ‘format’. What does that do?"
Removes everything — including operating system (Windows), drivers, all data and programs.
