if i had lent my computer to a friend then i would first set up a firewall and a good antivirus like AVG or norton. then set up Windows Defender and switch it for on-scanning protection.
this is all wat i’d do.
Hold it! You don’t have to do any classes or send your computer anywhere: you can download and instal tools yourself very easily.
I have XoftSpySE to clear out spyware and adware, and Norton 360 to remove viruses and to make the computer run effectively and efficiently. They both update themselves automatically and can be set to run automatically too. I no longer have any problems. (Knock on wood!)
Both these products, and many others, can be simply downloaded from the internet. There is also "shareware", which is made available very cheaply (free of profit).
Norton costs about $80 US from Symantec for home users:

Xoftspy costs about $30 US:

you cant clean your computer 100% a computer will always be able to have viruses on it and the only way to have it 100% clean is to install new parts on it.
find some decent software to scan your machine on auto pilot..
to get viruses, adware etc removed
