   A little bit. Open start menu , programs, accessories, system. Click on disk clean up and check mark all the items, then click ok. This removes a lot of junk files or files not used anymore. You have to empty the recycle bin also. As suggested when you have done this defrag your hard drive.

   Defrag your hard drive. Best to do it overnight while you sleep because if you haven’t done it in a while it takes a LOOOOOONG time. Sometimes 6-8 hours for larger drives.
