   Just using an antivirus program doesn’t guarantee full protection from viruses and trojans. Limewire can bring many malwares and spywares to your computer.

   You can never know what you are downloading using a P2P software and site. Sometimes some files are named similar to what you want to download and after download you find that they are something else.

   Better use an antispyware like Spybot S&D and also a firewall.

   They will give you more protection but again cannot offer you more than a limited level of security.

   Be careful with what you download.

   Control panel – security centre – make sure that the antivirus is on and green.

   Even with virus portection program, that does NOT mean you are 100% safe from downloading from sites like limewire. It will not scan the files before you download. In fact you will not know if it is an infected files until it is on your computer and by then it may already be too late.

   One time, it took me two days to remove a massive infection, to a very protected computer, becase my sister and brother uses limewire and went to unprotected sites.

   So if I were you I’d stay away from limewire and site and program like it. Otherwise you will regret it later on.

   Also donwloading copyright material online is illegal. Did you not see the news article about the woman that has to pay thousands of dollars in fines. It was on the news a little over a week ago.

   When you update it, it works. Or does it update its self?

   Mcafee puts an adviser in the lower right corner of the web pages when you browse.

   And it puts green marks on the web pages.
