How do you repair damaged SD Card?
I have a 512MB SD…Everything was fine until 1 day, my Kodak C613 could no longer read it and said it needs to be reformatted, I tried reformatting it using the digital camera but it couldnt. I tried using it in my PC and tried to reformat it under Windows VIsta but it only reads "242 MB" when its supposed to be 512mb. I tried it anyway but it still couldnt no matter what even quick or quick format unchecked… I tried downlaoding a format utility and it reads the same 242MB as the size… I was still able to recover most of my lost photos using recovery software but I need to make it back to 512 again. Do you know if my SD card is already damaged?? Help, help please…

Alot of cameras seem to do this. First before you think your card is damaged, take it out and push reset on your camera. Should be a small button somewhere, try it again. If it doesn’t read it then yes the card is damaged.
SD card must be replaced if damaged, call whoever distributes it though and you might be able to send it back and replace it with a new one.
