I have a pc that is so crapped up with things, I just want it wiped clean like I bought it. A system restore to factory defaults doesn’t help the situation at all. Any ideas how to clean the computer and reinstall all operating systems and basic programs? (I have all of the orginal cd’s my laptop came with to reinstall)

You need to erase the hard drive. When you put in the original CD that came with the computer, it should give you two options for system restore, one for returning to computer to out-of-box condition. You will be reminded several times that this will erase your hard drive. I have done this several times cause my husband is always messing up his computer.
Take it to a professional!
Reformat your hard drive then reinstall your operating system. If you want to clear up useless temp files, just install CCleaner for free and delete the stuff that you do not need. You can also clean up other useless crap with Avast!
follow the on screen instruction then start with disc one and work your way through all the discs till its completed
Recovery Disc or Partition. If there’s a partition, hold F8 until it keeps beeping. Press F8 again when you see Microsoft Windows Vista/XP Professional/XP Home. Press Enter on "Repair your Computer". Do the rest yourself.
