Clean your Registry can make your computer faster
Most computer users find this task confusing and time consuming and those who are not advanced computer experts run the risk of permanently damaging their system by trying to fix their windows registry manually. Using a registry clean and repair application is the fastest, easiest, and safest way to fix a slow computer. While there are a number of registry repair applications available, few offer a comprehensive set of features that enable you to completely clean your registry safely. It is crucial that you choose a Windows registry repair product that you can trust.
Use the tool to speed up pc:

First make sure that hardware is not outdated. It should not be very very old or primitive. Second, your system should not be full of viruses and spuwares and then one way to speed up your system is to select a good PC optimizer and System cleaner such as reginout from Intel Software Directory http://ibx.intel.com/directory/Default.aspx
The problem with slow computers is that most of the time. It’s all to do with a hidden part of your system .This part of your system is called the ‘registry’ and is a huge database which stores all the settings and options for your PC.The reason why the registry is responsible for making your computer run slow is because it is actually prone to getting corrupt and damaged. Because Windows is constantly using the database when you’re using your computer, it’s constantly got 100’s of registry files open. This unfortunately means that Windows gets confused, leading it to save the registry files wrong, making them incredibly difficult for your computer to read. Think of them as files which are all jumbled up, making your computer have to spend longer to read them. You just need to be able to clean out all the damaged files from the registry, allowing Windows to read all the files it needs, when it needs them. And to do this, you just need to use a tool called a ‘registry cleaner’.I should like to commend Registry Easy to you ! http://clean-up-registry-faster-pc.com
I sped mine up by following this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sA3L7hZ6k0k&feature=channel_video_title
First of all u should scan ur system with any good system cleaner such as RegInOut to clean ur system of excessive data that gives errors and cause slowdown. It cleans out even those files which Windows “Disk Cleanup” doesn’t removes. I hope ur problem will be solved. Few more additional tricks which might also be useful to u.
(a) Make sure ur Hardware is Sufficient: Above and beyond everything u can do with any software to optimize the function of ur computer, is to make sure u have the proper hardware to support Windows.
(b) Clean ur Desktop: Is ur Windows Desktop dotted with files? Have u noticed that ur
computer has been running slower and slower? Do u see the hard drive light often flashing
while u wait for the computer to respond to a command? This surely means that u need to clean ur desktop. Transfer maximum number of files to My Documents or any other folder and u can create a shortcut to that folder on ur desktop. This will help u get quick access to ur most frequently used files and it will also at the same time, rid ur desktop of unnecessary crap.
(c) Scan Windows for Errors: An operating system is a collection of files that
perform different functions. It is possible, over time, that one or more of these system files has changed or become corrupted. If this happens, the speed of ur system may decrease. By using a utility known as “System File Checking”, it will inspect these files and remove any errors that are reported.
(d) Scan for Spyware and Adware: Every Windows computer is vulnerable to viruses.
Viruses are nasty little programs that cause both major and minor problems for users. Spyware and Adware are programs created by companies to find out more information about customers, so they can market products to them more easily. Spyware and Adware can load into computer memory and slow it down. Periodical scan and removal of Spyware and Adware is a great way to improve computer’s performance.
(e) Uninstall Unused Programs: Over time, u may have accumulated programs on ur
computer that u do not use. When a program is installed, it creates connections between itself
and the operating system. Even if u don’t use these programs, they can slow down ur system. Removing programs will free up space on ur computer and improve it’s performance.
(f) Adjust Visual Effects for Better Performance: Windows provides a number of interesting visual effects including animated windows and fading menus. If u do not have enough operating memory (see above number 1), or if u aren’t an ardent gamer then u can afford to run ur computer with low intensity graphics as these effects slow down ur computer. Adjusting or reducing visual effects can make a difference.
(g) Programs starting Automatically at Windows startup: Programs use operating memory (RAM, also called system resources). Unless u always use these programs, u should prevent them from loading at Windows startup and as a result speed up the booting up of ur computer. Manage startup Programs using RegInOut.
(h) Defragment ur Hard Drive: The more information and programs u have on ur
computer, the more it is likely that Windows has placed parts of the same file in different
locations on ur hard drive. It may do this for hundreds of files and programs, depending on how much space is available. Defragmenting the hard drive places all information for each file in one place. The result can be a faster computer experience.
Hi there,
Before doing anything with your registry try cleaning out all the temporary and other junk files from your computer. I do this daily to keep my hard drive cleaned out.
Download and run CCleaner. Run CCleaner daily
If your computer is still slow download and run Glary Utilities. I run Glary daily also.
These two programs have worked for me on my computers for a few years.
Links below for CCleaner and Glary Utilities.
Hope this helps,
