Benefits of using registry cleaning software include not only improving the overall performance of your computer, but also that it does everything for you automatically. Although it is possible to manually configure your computer’s registry, the data is encrypted and can be up to thousands of lines long, and is not decipherable by most computer users. Therefore, unless you happen to be an expert at computing, a registry cleaner will undoubtedly be the most effective way of maintaining your registry’s efficiency, because it does the hard work for you by deleting or repairing corrupted data which may be slowing down your computer.
firstly, registry cleaner is beneficial to people, especially those who are not so familiar with registry.

The ‘registry’ has nothing to do with MSCONFIG or uninstalling programs. It’s a database which lies at the heart of Windows, storing all sorts of settings and information for your PC. Information like your latest emails and even your desktop background are kept in here, making it one of the important parts of your entire WIndows system… You can access the registry by searching for "REGEDIT.EXE" on your PC.
Registry cleaners scan through the registry database and fix any of the problems that are in there. This means that you really need to use a good program in order to get the most out of it… and such programs can be found at http://www.fastregistryfixes.com/best_registry_cleaner_tools.html

I don’t suggest u using registry cleaner unless u are expert in Computer field.b’cause if u delete somthing else rather than ur uninstalled programs Kaboom ur whole computer is out.So be careful while using it.most of the registry cleaner softwares cleans the registry items which r not used often so important files could be lost. And the whole computer may malfunction. So use a manual registry cleaner not an Automatic like Registry Aid and registry Doctor.so remove it after a careful examination.concluding if u r an expert it’s beneficial if u r not it is not.u can use MSconfig if u have experience but not a registry cleaner unless u r well versed in the field
No they are completely useless. Registry entries take up a few bytes at most so maybe you could cut a few nanoseconds off the time it takes windows to load by deleting some of them. And no registry entry is actually used unless its told to start when your computer does in msconfig or you click to open the program.
Registry cleaners have some benefits.
1, they give people on here something easy to write in answers when they have no idea what they are talking about.
2, Companies can make a simple product which does nothing and charge money for it. (which is why all registry cleaner sites you see are spam ones)
3, People can make them and giove them away for free and make money by offering to install things like the yahoo toolbar.
The main reason that you shouldn’t use them is that its not uncommon for programs like ccleaner to make you have to reinstall windows after you use them.
A registry cleaner is a type of software utility designed for the Microsoft Windows operating system whose purpose is to remove redundant or unwanted items from the Windows registry. However the necessity and usefulness of registry cleaners is a controversial topic, with experts not agreeing on their benefit. The problem is further clouded by the fact that malware and scareware is often associated with utilities of this type.
