   The best registry cleaner is none. This comes from a relative who owns a computer repair store. You are asking for trouble if you install one.

   The others are right to urge caution when using registry cleaners – some create system restore points before cleaning – if they don't, always create one yourself. If you have the money, I think Registry Mechanic or Amust Registry Cleaner are effective and safe to use

   But if you still want my recommendation then I would recommend:

   Registry Mechanic – because it backs up your registry before every clean

   My experience with it is it only messes up your programs. And slows down your computer even more. Better off to reformat and reinstall the operating system. And upgrade your programs.

   Hi,

   I have seen a lot of solution to clean registry, but the solution from Security Stronghold seemed to be reliable enough. It has 21 levels for perfomance tweaking to fix registry quickly enough. I use it and I enjoy )) have Fun in using the thing!
