   cleaning and fixing registry keys….

   meaning…NOT ALL UNINSTALLED SOFTWARES and HARDWARES were removed in registry so you have to clean it up for better performance…

   use a WINDOW WASHER…and Registry fix..

   I don’t know about 2002, but do you have Disk Defragment. If so do that.
