Jenny is right, but if I was you I’d…
Let THEM clean it according to her instructions, or…
Accept a blank check from them.
You can fill in the amount later. (double it).
Then send me half, my address is…

you know Anybody who has a powerful Air Compressor?!? Find someone with a powerful air compressor & get them to let you use the Air Gun & Blow it all out with compressed air, just make sure you wear like a carpenter’s respirator, or like a doctors mask & then something over your eyes, safety goggles, sunglasses, etc…
After getting expressed written consent that you shall be liable for no damages, I would start with the compressed air and see how far that gets me. After that, liquids aren’t really the best choice, but if you gotta use it, i would use the alcohol for it’s quick evaporation. Just don’t douse it with the stuff,(think cotton swab for your ears, with just a dab of alcohol), also wait plenty before you turn it on if you have to go that route, but even then i’d try to stick with the air as much as you can.
Apparently by the other responses I live on the edge, but if it’s caked in dust, it’s not like they were taking care it /realist.
hey don’t even touch the mother board with a wet cloth or even a dry one it can blow the computer use a blower or a brush of extra soft hairs
There is a special foam cleaner DO NOT PUT ON FAN PART OF YOUR MODEM OR MONITOR everywhere else is fine then wipe with damp cloth should be clean!
Don’t clean it. You can wreck it easily. Leave it for them to clean if it’s important to them.
Compressed air is the easiest and most effective.
compressed air is the safest way to clean the inside of computer. Never use any liquid to clean your computer! Turn it off and unplug all cable before you open the case.
Do not use vacuum to clean inside of the computer. It is ok to use it to suck up dust around the case, but never inside. Vacuum machine generate a lot of static electricity and it can damage the internal component of your computer
