So, I have two Administrator accounts in XP. One of them is password protected. Recently, I sent it for servicing. But when they repaired and gave it back to me, my account had no password and they accessed all my hidden files and data. How’s it possible? How can they crack my password? How can I secure my privacy and be safe?
PS – I did repair my machine earlier without password protecting my account. Did they install any sneaky cracking software at that time?

not likely. It’s more likey that they had to partially restore windows and reset the users. You can just reset now passwords in the control panel. If you have specific files you want to protect, get a file encryption program or drive.
