You need to repost your question with the complete registry error message.. if you will look at the registry key you typed you will see that yahoo cuts it off… just put some spaces after the \ ‘s.
I don’t know anything about the Nokia suite… but if it is a valid software then I would contact their technical support or look at their FAQ pages for assistance and/or similar errors.
As for registry cleaners … that’s probably what’s causing you the problems in the first place… ie, using a bunch of crapware. It’s a really bad idea to mess with programs you do not understand.. especially when it comes to something as sensitive as your registry…. ESPECIALLY if you didn’t have the good sense to back it up first.
Messing with your registry (especially if you do even one thing wrong) could cause your entire system to simply buckle.
A 100% solution would be to stop messing with things you don’t understand and stop installing crapware you don’t understand and invest in a reliable and qualified technician who can sort out your problem.. and who can tell you exactly what they intend to do before they do it.
Also, you should be concentrating on this point on BACKING UP YOUR DATA because if you really do need to reinstall windows then you should at least try to be smart and not lose your important files. A burned CD costs pennies.
Make a list of all programs you use.. and find their installation cds and keep them in a single binder… if you do not have the installation cds, get them.
Make a list of all locations that contain files such as documents, spreadsheets, pictures, etc.. and burn those to a CD or put them on a usb key
Make sure you copy your favorites to that CD or USB as well and make a note of any screensavers or desktop wallpaper or anything else you’ve installed that did not come with windows.
You should be doing all of this anyways to prepare for just this eventuality.. just as a general principle.
The links your have posted make absolutely no sense since they all refer to different things. proving once again that you require true professional assistance and not strangers on a web board who may not even be techs.
Good Luck
As your 3 links do not refer to exactly the same things it is going to be difficult for anyone to be able to help unless you give the full error. In the mean time contact Nokia, re-post your question with the full error.
