   No offense, but wouldn’t a "computer repair man" already know this? Are you fixing, or phishing? Also…"Even if I have to buy the software"? Red flag #2. Third, look at this guy’s bio. and post history…anybody see a computer repair man in there…I see a TROLL. Methinks you can figure this one out on your own, chief.

   ok let me see if I read this correctly . your a computer tech and you want to turn on a pc AT WORK that is currently turned off
   as in off , not on , not in hibernation . NOT GOING TO HAPPEN

   now, with that said if the pc is ON there are several programs that can be used to access your pc or others , but based onthe fact your work is using Vista ( why why why i would ask) I doubt
   very very seriously that the Administrator is going to allow access to the pc via a remote connection
