Hmm, iStore, doesn’t sound like an official Apple Store (which are simply called Apple Stores). Get yourself a firewire to USB cable and try to backup your data like that. Also, I’ve had similar issues with my trackpad. I solved it by repairing disk permissions, then restarting, resetting the PRAM, entering single user mode, running fsck -f twice, then restarting again. Give that ago, if not, then it’s probably a major hardware fault on the PCI drive controllers.
i think you should buy a new port USB and update your softwares.
i have the same machine the macbook pro ,and is working great ,i ve never had that kind of problems .
maybe you did not use it properly .
read about macs 🙂
