I installed a clean windows xp and installed the service pack 2 however I don’t have internet connection so that I can upload the dell drivers. I know my internet connection is not the problem but when I try to download the dell drivers and put them on a external harddrive they won’t unzip I really need someone’s help
Thanks,

If you had used the Dell XP Recovery disks, and the Drivers Disk, that came with your PC, you wouldn’t be going through this now.
And, it is all explained in your PC User Manual, including how to Burn your XP Recovery disks.
TIP: Do NOT "put them on a external hard drive" before you try to unzip them, do it on your desktop.
most of Dell’s drivers are self-extracting archives. Just double-click on them to extract them.
You are probably used to using a program like WinZip to unzip them. Put the mouse cursor over the Zip file, click the right mouse button and choose "Extract" from the menu that pops up using the left mouse button. That should get them unzipped for you.
