Will some body guide me what should I do now.I want to repair my system by myself,as due to some problems here I am facing.So how i would be able to bring back my pc in that position.I have pantium 3 with 20 GB Hard Disk,And 256 RAM.In past I was using window XP.Thanks

Try to start your system in safe mode. To do this: press F8 during your system starting. If your system starts in safe mode. run ‘system restore’ under accessories/system tools menu.
repair it using your bootable windows xp cd if you have one.
when the booting take place using your cd wait till it load up.
you will see a repair my windows when it load up.
you cant do that by yourself. you need another machine to connect it on your PC to get software on yours. if you format whole computer, you will not be able to use CD-ROM. if you really have a big problem with it, go into some PC shop where they repair computers. you wont spend a lot of money on it, maybe 20box.
If you are able to start Windows and System Restore, then you can start System Restore and pick a date before the problem began. If you don’t have access to Windows, then you’re pretty much screwed. Re-install Windows. You will lose all of your files. Sorry, but don’t mess around with computers like that when you don’t know what you are doing.
format hard drive, reinstall windows, start fresh….. it’ll be fun!
