Your hard drive is broken and has to be replaced. Hard drives cannot survive drops. The mechanism will still run but the disc will have so many bad sectors that you cannot use it anymore.
It’s hard to tell for sure without running some diag tests, but my guess (and I’m in the computer repair business) is that you damaged the hard drive when you dropped it. The hard drives in laptops use high tensile silicon platters with a special metalic coating – basically they’re made of glass. You can easily damage the read head or platters in these drives when you drop your laptop. You probably now have one or more bad sectors (bad spots) on your hard drive and one of them is where a file Windows needed to load was stored. If this is the case, you will have to replace the hard drive.
if it doesnt work…then how are you asking this question…?
Umm… how are you writing this? If you have another computer, then why don’t you use that one.
