   Try moving it back to its original position to see if your speed is restored. Then take the other obvious steps (signal strength checks, virus and spyware scans etc).

   To get accurate speed benchmarking use http://www.speedtest.net

   after that all you can do is contact your provider.

   try a program to clean and fix the errors of the register.. winaso for example.. good luck

   Is your computer connected wirelessly? If so, it could have an adverse affect based on how far away you are from the router.

   Have you run a virus/spyware scan to make sure your computer isn’t infected.
