   If you get a pop up saying you should buy or download something – DON’T DO IT!

   It is almost certainly an attempt to infect your computer.

   Try using a pop-up blocker.

   No, it’s trying to trick you into install malware.

   Ignore it and if you’re unsure scan using a reliable program. You never need to clean up the registry although it does speed up the computer if you do

   You can check and make sure you are clean. Download and install the free cleaner malwarebytes. Make sure you update it first, then run a scan.
   Also, you can use an online virus scanner and check.
