   you can go for wise registry cleaner, quite lightweight and fast……but am not very sure about its effectiveness…definitely not as good as registry mechanic from pctools.

   You can try ‘Advanced Windows Care V2 Personal’. It can remove spyware, prevent spyware, clean registry and so on. It is free & can be downloaded from http://www.iobit.com.

   why don’t you try ccleaner. its free and it dose more then clean your registry, its what i use and I’ve never had a problem… take a look at the link if you are interested
