There are the problem in every computer, the computer is slow because you never clean the junk file! You should some program like Advance system care 3 or Advance system optimizer or ccleaner and the startup faster!!!!! It’s 100% fast. You should try it.You can it by search it on the google. Please Vote me some.
NO AVG IS A VIRUS TOO DON’T LISTEN TO THAT IGNORANT WORK AND MAKE MONEY AND BUY CA ANTIVIRUS TRUST ME DON’T DO SOMETHING ELSE!
Download a free virus software (Spybot Search and Destroy for starters). AVG and PC tools has some pretty decent software for free to. Search the internet for some free tune up software. If your inexperienced and broke, this will be your best bet.
AVG is a good free antivirus software.
1.) Get Malwarebytes. http://malwarebytes.org/ Install the free version, then once it’s done downloading, update it yourself, this insures a complete update. Then run a full scan. It will take a while so give it some time. Once it’s done, quarantine the things that it finds(It will find trojans, worms, back door trojans, rouges, and more) Then once that’s done, you may have to restart your computer to clean the RAM.
2.)Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup>Click OK after it calculates how much memory you’ll be able to save>let it clean.
3.)Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Defragment>Click Analyze>Let it analyze the drive, when it’s done a box will pop up saying if you should or shouldn’t defrag, click defrag anyway>let it defrag
4.)Go and download CCleaner, http://www.ccleaner.com/ Install it, and open it, click on the analyze button on the clean page, once it’s done analyzing, click run cleaner, it will clean the drive like disk cleanup did, but get rid of more files.
5.)Still in CCleaner, click on the registry tab on the left side, then click scan for issues, once it’s done click fix selected errors, you will prompted to make a restore point, you don’t have to, but you should for your first couple of times using it, most of the essential registry entries that couldn’t really hurt your computer are now fixed.
6.)Still in CCleaner, click on tools, and click on Startup, click and disable things you don’t need on startup. I recommend just starting up your antivirus and internet connection. You could startup messengers. But the less you have going on startup will help your computer run faster. To disable something, click on it, then on the bottom click disable(don’t worry, if you want to enable it again later, it’s still going to be there, if you do, just click on it and click enable.)
7.)Get an Antivirus. I recommend AVG Free http://free.avg.com/us-en/homepage towards the center of the page there is an option to download the free version, click on it, it will take you to cnet and download it. (Durin the installation it will ask if you want the basic or the paid version, click on the basic, because it’s free)Then go through the installation process. If you already have an antivirus on there, then finish the installation of avg, it will ask for you to uninstall it, don’t do it until avg is fully installed. Once AVG is installed, go to My Computer>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs>Click on the antivirus you have now, and click uninstall on the left corner. Go through the uninstallation process and it’s gone. You’ll probably have to go to CCleaner and the registry cleaner and clean the registry again to insure the entries of the last antivirus are gone.
8.)7 was optional, if you like your antivirus, you can keep it, AVG is awesome, it has a 5 star rating on cnet, that’s why I suggested it.
9.)Still in Add or Remove Programs, uninstall any programs that you don’t use to make room for more free memory, you don’t have too. But if you do, run the registry cleaner again to insure all the entries are gone. And also, you may have to go to My Computer>Program Files to delete the folders of the software you uninstalled. (Don’t uninstall anything from Microsoft, or anything from Apple if you have an Ipod, also if you do have an Ipod and have Itunes on there, DON’T delete Quicktime, Itunes needs quick time to be able to work)
10.)Once you’ve uninstalled the things you don’t use and that isn’t from windows, apple, or itunes, clean your computer with ccleaner again, and fix the registry again. Restart your computer. You’re computer should be faster.
11.)Make sure you put your antivirus on a schedule to scan everyday. Scan your computer with Malwarebytes every few days to once a week. Clean your computer with CCleaner every day to every few days. Defrag every week or two. And use disk cleanup every week or two to insure you got rid of all temp files.
12.)Be safe on the internet. Don’t go around clickin on random links, if you use AVG, it has a Link Scanner that scans the websites on the results page for any bad downloads and drive by downloads. And it has a resident sheild for real time protection against viruses and spyware. AVG has antivirus and antispyware, which is awesome.
13.)Don’t open any attachment on an email, it may have a virus, better safe than sorry.
Don’t open an email from anyone you don’t know, if it’s in your spam, delete it immediately.
A Virus could be in your emails, and once you open it, you’re infected, so only open emails from people you trust
Don’t put any personal info on any page that isn’t https protected, if it asks for your personal info on a regular http connection, it’s a scam and phishing.
Don’t click on anything that’s a pop up. It could give you a virus
14.) IMPORTANT READ!!: If anything pops up on your computer that isn’t your antivirus and says YOUR INFECTED!! Do a cold boot(Just man
