   You can get a free one called "CCleaner" which is what many people use. It’s pretty light on resources so it’s good for portable computers. However, it does not find many errors on your PC that’s the only problem with it.

   If you want the cleaner to actually do some good for your system, you need to use a tool like "RegCure" which will find and remove the largest number of registry errors from your Pc. You can read about this at http://www.fastregistryfixes.com/best_registry_cleaner_tools.html

   Not too sure what you mean by "Portable" but I would suggest CCleaner.
