I would recommend downloading a few things:
"Spybot Search and Destroy"
"Malwarebytes Anti-Malware"
the first one will stop everything from changing your registry unless you say it is ok(If you install programs, it is ok to let it change your registry. if your just sitting at the computer not installing anything, your registry should never change). the second will delete/quarantine malware.
The last time i got a virus, it started its self on startup and would re-create its self on deletion and sometimes stop from being deleted. to solve this i had to download another program called "HijackThis". It scans your computer and tells you to allow it to restart your computer. It can only delete what it needs to before the virus starts itself on startup. I would also recommend getting AVG Free. It doesnt stop everything, but it does stop a lot.
good luck
If you are having issues with the computer going to the wrong sites, that usually indicates what is called a "hi-jacker". It is a class of spyware. No spyware scanner is perfect. They all have spyware that they find, and others that the miss. It is also possible for spyware to be written in such a way that it prevents the scanner from being able to remove it. It locks files so that they can not be removed by the scanner.
First, trying rerunning the scan with the computer in Safe Mode. When in Safe Mode, the computer prevents any files from loading or being locked except a handful of them needed to actually run the Windows Desktop. Turn the computer on and begin to repeatedly press the F8 key until you get the Safe Mode option screen.
If that still does not resolve the issue, try downloading a different scanner. Two of the best free ones are Spybot Seek & Destroy and Ad-Aware SE. You can get either at http://download.com
Hopefully between those they will be able to clean the hi-jacker off your PC.
Download and use the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and get your computer back.
Yeah, I know! Another ‘Shiny’ better anti-virus program! Everyone always has something better!
Nope! This one will wipe off what McAfee, Norton, Avast, AVG, Spybot Search & Destroy, Microsoft Live One Care, Windows Defender, and a HOST of others won’t touch!
Info about Malwarebytes on Wikipedia.org,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malwarebytes
Download page for the free version of Malwarebytes,

After you download, install, and start using it, DON’T click on anything!
Even if you get pop-up after pop-up, and can’t see the Malwarebytes screen!
Let it run!
Takes about 42 minutes.
It DOES work! (I also use CCleaner as a registry cleaner. Free. The paid junk doesn’t work as well!)
try SuperAntiSpyware
Lol, you were so desperate and downloaded spyware begone. Spyware begone is said to install adware itself. Don’t be so desperate next time and research about what your getting. Right now, you should go to a different computer and download Malwarebytes, and install it into your computer in safemode.
