I would like to restore my pc back to before a point where HP Advisor was present as it has now disappeared.

Clean Registry and Optimize PC
Just type in HP in the search pane in the start erea locate the file loction and see if it really gone. I fit is then just go to HP.com and download the FREE newest version of it and install it, problem solved!
