The same thing has happened to me before. I think you have a virus called DNSchanger you go to one website and it directs you to another. The problem I had was my computer would not let me download any programs to fix it. I could not download anything at all. I ended up having to reformat my computer. I backed everything up to memory sticks. Now everything is fine. What I recommend for you to try, if you are able to download, is this program, download the free version and run the scan. This will wipe out all the viruses on your computer. Very good program. If you are not able to download then you will have no choice but to reformat. Good luck. I know how annoying that virus is. http://www.superantispyware.com/?tag=GOOGLE-SUPERANTISPYWARE
You certainly sound like your "infected" (in computer terms)
I would visit a special website such as http://www.helpmyos.com who have experts who are trained in removing malware & viruses.
Have a look at this instructions topic: http://www.helpmyos.com/malware-threat-removal-f6/read-before-posting-your-log-t504.htm
Its perfectly normal to have several instances of svchost running in TM. Cleaning your registry isa waste of time. Please download this program and post the log of what it finds.

The program has its own site, but malware sometimes blocks this, so i gave you another.
I don’t want to get too techy, but in internet explorer go to tools >.internet options>connections>lan settings. Then untick the ‘ use a proxy server ‘ box. > ok. This may stop you being redirected. Also your host file has probably been modified
If all fails you can take the pc to a local shop. They will re-install windows using your own activation key, which will be on the tower or under the laptop. They will charge around £30
