I tried another monitor that I know works and it still came up blank. Has anybody run across this before? Did my video card go bad? It is only a year old as is the entire computer.

Do you see anything at all, when the computer is loading?
Do you here any audio of the speakers?
Do you here any beeping from the computer it self? If so how may beeps?
Make sure the monitor cable is pluged into the back of the Monitor and computer.
If that don’t work
Un hook the monitor from the computer, and monitor look and see if there are any bent pins,
If that don’t work
First, tun off the computer power and shut off the switch in the back.
Now press your power button 10 times "this is going to clear power form your memory and bios"
Now try to start up the computer.
If that don’t work.
If you work on your own computers, (UnPlug The Computer) open up the computer shell, blow out all the dust with low pressure, There is going to be A LOT of dust.
Now make sure the power is hooked to the back of the graphic card, and make sure the Card is in the Mother board. BE CARFUL DON’T FORCE IT. The card should be screwd down.
And if you don’t want to do any of this, bring your computer to best buy’s GEEK SQUAD.
Hope that helps
