   The best way to clean up your web history is to look for a button on your internet’s toolbar that says tools click on it and there should be an option that says "Delete Browsing History" click on it and it comes up with more specific bits that you want to delete for examples cookies and form data,from there you just choose what you want to delete.

   GO TO <TOOLS>
   THEN TO <INTERNET OPTIONS>
   IN THE <GENERAL TAB> U WILL SEE THE <DELETE> HISTORY BUTTON OR <DELETE COOKIES> BUTTON DEPENDING ON YOUR COMPUTER.

   THAT WILL DELETE EVERYTHING EVER OPENED.

   If u have fire fox u should

   Hit ctrl H and you will get ur histroy bar to pop over then u can highlite the history and delete it all

   If u have the newest internet explorer you can

   go to tools
   delete brosing history and can delete all cookeis web pages temp files and other stuff that u dont need hope this helped.

   u can clear it manually through ur browser under tools>options or something similar

   Sorry, didn’t realize you said you *weren’t* looking for a registry cleaner, please disregard what I wrote below. To clean your history in Firefox, goto Tools > Clear Private Data, then choose what you want to delete. In I.E. 7 you goto Tools > Delete Browsing History. Hope that helps.

   Registry mechanic is a highly rated piece registry software and the one I use. Unfortunately the only version of it worth while is the paid version. I believe you can get a copy at http://www.download.com but it will be the free version. However there are torrents out there for a key generator to unlock all the features if you feel up to it. Otherwise there are many other registry cleaners at that website, some of which are free.
