No. The registry will no longer be configured for the installs on the old drive. Reinstallation is best, then you can individually copy save data and config files from the old drive to the new one.
Services like Steam will allow you to just re dl the game and should have most of your settings saved (that’s the purpose of Steam).
There are a number of forums about this, but here’s a decent one if you want additional info.
If you install things to the second drive, they’ll b e installed to the second drive. If they’re installed to the C drive and you move them to the second drive, they won’t run. The registry will be fine, but for an installation of the program on the C drive.
If you;’re doing a clean install, you have to install the games after you do the install. Whether the game files are on the second drive makes no difference – they won’t be installed on a clean install, they’ll just be files.
Most likely they well be screwed up.
You can always try to install the game again afterward and install it over the game where it is now.
No, chances are windows will not be able to run the games. You will need to reinstall them. If you want to keep existing data just rename the game folders reinstall game to the same location then replace new folders with the old ones. Good luck.
