They are all great for free programs. Some even better than programs that need to be purchased.

"EasyCleaner [1] is my main recommendation. I personally use it once every week to clean all the junk out of the registry. It has a good history of not creating problems and has a list of registry values that must not be cleaned under any circumstance. It will also detect and delete duplicate files and clean up all your temporary files to clean up more disk space.
Eusing Free Registry Cleaner [2], is also a good program but doesn’t have the features that EasyCleaner has. However, I only know of a couple of problems with this product cleaning the registry.
Another option is a program called RegSeeker, but it has caused many problems to many people and I will not place any link to it as it is a very disappointing product

A safer way to speed up your computer would be to defragment the disk drives. 🙂 Look here for more information:

It also clears up a load of other rubbish that could be slowing down your computer, but keep in mind that some stuff it deletes by default you might want, eg some cookies and your browsing history. Nothing serious though, and it’s all optional.
Make sure to back up your registry before doing anything!!! (It gives you the option.)
Your better getting one, go to your loace pc story, free ones are a rip off.
Personally I use Eusing Free Registry Cleaner. It’s useful and gets a bunch of stuff.
Although registry contributes to slowness, Defragmenting (recommend JkDefrag aside from default Windows one) your Hard Drive and getting more memory if you multitask heavily will alleviate problems, at least until Microsoft writes a new operating system ;).
