   Apple Application support is pretty much useless and unneeded on a Windows machine. It is basicallly an installer for crappy Apple (Mac) software like iTunes and QuickTime.

   I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it. It will re-install itself in the unlikely event that you ever download anymore junk from Apple.

   If you are really anal about you computer…just uninstall QuickTime…download it again and re-install it…and VOILA! Apple Application support will return.

   You have to do a restore point before you can recover.

   Although if you’re on XP I don’t see why you need it. Or if it will even run on Windows.
