I just wiped my computer clean, its an Insignia 400a, I reinstalled windows xp, but I dont have the second cd..for the drivers and apps. I really need to be able to connect to my wireless internet. I found the Intel 845 Lan driver on the Insignia website and installed it, but I still have no idea what else I need like somekind of software or program to detect wireless networks and connect. If anyone can help me in any way, I would really appeciate it. Thanks.

You’re going to need your wireless LAN driver also. There are probably a bunch of other drivers you should install also. Just keep checking the Insignia website.
After a fresh install you need to install 3 drivers.
1. Sound
2. VGA
3. Ethernet connection.
So search for the drivers for your ethernet connection and wireless connection. Once you install them, your device would be detected and start working.
Make sure you have a wireless card for it first. If you have a running system on it that isn’t a mac, find the device manager, find your cards info, and google it for drivers.
Did the wireless card come with the computer or was it purchased separately? I found a D400a with specs listed online and didn’t see any mention of a wireless card included. If you know the brand/model of the wireless card, I would look on their site for drivers.
