since you have tried CCleaner, i think Wondershare Registry Optimizer is a better choice for you. it has a trial edition and can fix 10 probs once. of course, the charged edition can fix all your probs once.
and it is easy to use.at first launch Wondershare Registry Optimizer. You can see a simple and friendly interface. It includes four parts as follows:
1. Clean Center
2. Optimizer Center
3. Advanced Tools
4. System Information
then you can do a thorough clean and optimization step by step.
good luck~:)
There’s no download for VM, you just set it properly. The best setting is usually to let Windows handle it.
But if you run a program that has a memory leak, or you constantly run more programs than you have RAM for, you’re going to run out of both GDI resources and virtual memory. That’s how Windows works.
The ONLY solution is fewer programs or more RAM (it’s the same thing – raise the bridge or lower the water, and the distance between them is the same.) 10GB of virtual memory, 256MB of RAM and 20GB of programs just won’t work. VM is a band-aid – you need enough RAM to hold the programs you’re running. If Windows needs to swap itself in and there’s not enough RAM, you have to reboot or Windows crashes. Period. Increasing VM won’t solve the problem.
Hey Tom I used to have a similar problem on my xp desktop pc well i searched a while and found a few programs or apps that helped me that you might want to have a look at! 😀
Registry Cleaner – CCleaner
RAM defrag – iolo Memory Mechanic
and here are just a few other helpful programs:
Disk Defragmenter – AusLogics Disk Defrag
System tune up – Advanced System Care
Hope they will help let me knw. BTW jus google the names and u should find the download links (Y)
You can get CC Cleaner. It’s not exactly a "registry" cleaner but it will definitly clean all of that clutter on your C:/ drive. You can get it here.

Cleaning your registry won’t fix a virtual memory issue.
Have you tried the basic thing like making sure that your hard drive isn’t completely full and that you have memory paging set to a proper value or to just let the system maintain it?
Start | Control Panel | System
then select the "Advanced" tab, then click the "Settings" button under "Performance"
Select the Advanced tab on the resulting "Performance Options" dialog box, and then click the "Change" button in the "Virtual memory" section.
Click on your C: drive and select "System managed size" and then click the "Set" button, and the "OK" until you get back to control panel until you get the notice that you have to reboot.
Now reboot and the system will set up your virtual memory during that reboot — note that it may take a few minutes for your system to reboot the first time with the new settings.
Good Luck!
