they are two different programs and you need to get those viruses out asap. go to a free anti viral recommended by yahoo download and run
While both are known generically as "malware"–and there’s quite a bit of overlap–malware comes in several classes, including viruses, Trojan Horses, spyware/adware, and infected macros. Nowadays, most attacks are "blended"–for example, a drive-by website plants a Trojan on your machine that then downloads a virus or spyware from its control server or download server. In general, you need both an anti-virus utility and TWO (or more) anti-spyware utilities.
