I have a system restore on my computer and have had to use it once for another problem and that fixed the problem. Will restoring fix registry errors as well or am asking for more problems?

Yes if you reinstall windows, it will fix your registry.
A destructive recovery will erase EVERYTHING (that means the registry too) and it will set your computer back to how it was when it was new.
