Why don’t you just buy a power cable for your PC or have your family mail the one you forgot. That would solve that.
I would agree with the Virtual RAM & paging files space & performance Vs Power & all the other stuff which is under that menu
BUT — Save yourself some time & effot, i use a program called AMD Fusion For Gaming, quick search on the net will take you to the AMD web page for it,
What it does is shuts down everything your computer won’t need while playing the games to give you that extra boost in performance, quality, Resolution settings & so on
You get differnat settings in this new update, for online games, offline games, surfing the web, Or just using programs such as windows office & all that other crud students & work people use
You just install the porogram & liek i say it does all the haqrd work for you
When running a profile, with AMD Fusionjust minimize the window to taskbar to get rid of it, don’t actually close the window or the profile will top, you will also have to load the program from your taskbar as the icon it leaves on the desktop is just the install icon & not the launch program – i don’t knwo why it does hts but t does — Enjoy
In ‘control panel’ turn up virtual ram. Click on system, keep clicking settings and advanced until you find virtual ram. Click ‘custom’ then set from 4000 to 8000. Then restart.
You CANT.
they dont run well because you lack something called video processing, and VRAM, both of which are physical coponents that must be install inside the pc.
in other words, unless you go buy the actual hardware at frys and open your pc and install it yourself, you cant "increase performance"
Game performance is directly related to the hardware in the computer.
instead of a computeri bought the most expensive toaster i ould find
netbooks really aren’t meant to play games like that. I have no idea what your system specs are, but i’d imagine the GPU isn’t that great.
also, vista is a resource hog.
