   You did not indicate the laptop model, but most laptops come with a repair partition accessible using F10 or F12 during power up. This will initiate recovery, which means re-setting the laptop to a factory state, which means, your data will be lost, so make sure you have a way to recover your data.

   Well, from the boot menu f12 i think u can choose what to boot first make sure that the #1 is ur dvd rom. and #2 ur hdd. I dont know much but i think this will work. I hope u understand 😛

   After inserting XP cd restart it. It will ask press any key to run the CD.
   THen step by step go ahead. XP has the option to format the previous directories.
   Follow it and do it.
