Clean Registry and Optimize PC
You may have a line fault. Have your lines company do a check. there could be moisture in a connection somewhere.
Go to Start->Run and type in prefetch and hit enter. When that window opens delete all the files in there and close the window. Go to Start->Run and type in %temp% and when that window opens delete all those files as well. Even though it may be slow, search for two programs called Defraggler and CCleaner and download/install them. Reboot your computer in Safe Mode and run both of those programs. While in Safe Mode, run all of your current spyware/adware cleaners and antivirus programs, also.
start in safe mode F8 then find and run your anti virus and anti spy ware then reboot and run them again that should get anything in there
Don’t know where your location is or when your problem started but here in Southern Ontario it’s been extremely windy. Many poles and cables have been damaged, not to mention being the X-Mas holiday the net is slower than usual for me too. I heard that 2 of the 3 main cable routes were down yesterday. Anyway, go to DSL Reports http://www.dslreports.com/ and run the tests under the tools tab. The tweak tests will tell you if any of your setting are incorrect. I would download and run CCleaner.
