I use reginout and you can use it, Its pretty effective one. It also comes with so many other features such as junk cleaner, privacy cleaner, defragmentation etc
There is CC Cleaner, Glary Utilities….i have had them all but the one i use now…i will never change…its a new program and its free….and it will help cleanup the computer and all the junk files on it….it will also Defrag both the Hard Drive and the Registry which should be done frequently…to keep the registry opening fast…

Mary my exp with it is not that good. I always like Reginout in paid one as it also comes with Defrag, system cleaning, Privacy cleaning options, you can look into that possibility.
Personally I don’t like that program. My friend had it as a firewall program and it constantly caused her Anti-Virus to crash. This is just a personal experience though, Your computer may be a different set up.
Never use a registry cleaner on your computer. It will not conflict with any programs, but they work to remove entries that are shown to no longer be in use, and in the case of some common files used by multiple programs they may delete important entries that programs need in order to function.
The performance gain in negligible compared to the risks. You will not notice any improvement. Try a disk De-frag. That will help with performance and will not destroy useful entries in your registry as it just puts files that have been orphaned by ram dumps back into their proper places, causing your computer to speed up as it no longer needs to search your HDD so much to find the file it wants.
You should run a De-frag quarterly (every 3 months or so).
