Yellow…When was the last time you emptied your temp files/cookies etc…How many icons do you have on your desktop?
Check your task bar…Are there redundant shortcuts…Clean that up…They rob your Random access memory…ram…Once you have defragmented…The problem is in your ram…I agree with the others in here…Beware of free downloads….good luck…Yukoneze
Hello, registry cleaner will help some putting in more memory will help to video card with memory on it will help free up more memory on your computer to.say your computer has 1 gig of memory part of that memory is what they call virtual memory that your computer uses in other words it takes some of your 1 gig of memory to run other things so you have less memory working on your computer that what it says so putting in a video card with 512 of memory or better will free up that memory that your computer is splitting up to run other things on the computer.I would go with the radon 512 video card and later on go up on the memory in the computer. That will help.
don’t do it. 9 tim out of 10 thoes are spyware. Just get a few good spyware removal programs. Some exapmles are ad-aware spybot spysweeper I believe AVG has one and if you Have windowsXP you can download microsofts anti spyware program and use that. f your a bit more advanced in computers try hijack this. After that if its still slow look at how many programs you are running on your pc at start up it could also be possible thatyou need a memory upgrade. Try the spyware option first best of luck
why buy microsoft gives it away
Beware of downloaded registry cleaners, many of them are full of spyware, CCleaners is ok, you could also try the tiral version of winoptimizer.
If you do dowload anything scan it for spyware before you install it, the only Norton programme I would recommend (although even this has it’s glitches) is Norton Works.
try http://www.ccleaner.com ! free, easy to use and i personally reccomend it.(cc=crap cleaner)
Oh yes, indeed! And there is a very good one that I use available free at "Softpedia". It’s called CCleaner. Works like a charm. Good luck. Ciao!

You may just want to buy more RAM… memory always helps solve slow computers… Random Access Memory is "randomly accessed" by all of your running programs. If you have a lot running at one time, or really large programs then it accesses the majority of your computer and slows everything down in order for your computer not to crash.
