This is a scam.
This scam targets windows users, you are not infected.
However, there are some viruses for mac as well, through rare.
Every single Operating system is possible to get a virus….
Microsoft Windows 7 Microsoft Windows XP Microsoft Windows Vista are more likely to get viruses (Thats why you see alot of Anti virus programs) because most people, most hackers and most trouble makers (Hackers) or viruses makers use it …..
For the Mac it is LESS SECURE than PC’s because less people most hackers and most trouble makers (Hackers) or viruses makers aren’t using it so it is not as famous as PC’s …..
(this info is true TRUST ME because I heard this from professionals)
Yes, it is possible that a Mac can get infected with a computer virus. However, there are less computer viruses and other malicious files and programs out there for Macs than there are for Windows.
I would suggest that you either download or purchase an antivirus program, as well as an antispyware or antimalware program, in order to prevent your computer from becoming infected with a computer virus or other malicious file or program.
Good luck and I hope I helped you!
Sounds like some type of scareware, it brings up a windows on your browser and gives a fake antivirus report. Then tricks the user to download it, and install it. Which brings the actually load of the full malware into the system.
Now as for MACs getting a virus. There is no reason why not, its just that with the pathetic market share compared to windows, and how complex a virus has to be to work on a modern operating system. it is not worth the trouble because of such little impact.
no its not possible for a mac to give you a viruse…most likely dier trying to get you to download it so dat you can get a viruses which isn’t possible on macs.. but don’t be fulled by it… da only source dat you should believe dat you have a viruses is your antiviruses software.. but anywho.. you can’t viruses on macs
virus are program made to harm you or your system. It can be made for any operating system. Use an anti virus program to solve vitus problem.
for windows kapersky or bit defender are good choice
No you are fine. This type of attack is trying to get you to download some software because they claim you have a virus. But really, the software they are trying to get you to download IS the virus/malware. Just ignore it, you are fine!
