It’s very possible, especially if you did not uninstall NOD32 first. It could also be related to the malware on your computer.
A system can crash because of multiple reasons specific to your system. To find the real reason,
1. go to RUN
2. Type ‘eventvwr’ without the single quotes in RUN and click enter.
3. go to ‘Windows’ and then ‘System’ events and check the log there.
If you do not find any logs specific to the shutdown, then there must be power problem with your system. For power issues, there would be no logs.
Could be. If you had another anti-virus program then maybe….
I have NEVER known AVG cause a crash. It is more likely the spyware seriously damaged files, so when AVG fixed it the system hit damaged fie.
Hello BG;
Lets assume that the computer keeps track of every event that takes place. This is true and there are ways to look at what every event happened and took place where and when precisely.
BG; This takes patients, but become fun when you can feel that you make discovers and fix things. No hero ,, However you would be able to help someone else.
Got the anti-virus stuff ok, But now could only guess about the version of Windows and the size of hard drive or if this condition prevented going on the internet. .
.Yea, see a serious conflict here so may be able to let you see it to
Patience.
Need to find the "Event Viewer" in "Computer Manager" .Here we go. "Control Panel" > "Administrator Tool" > "Computer Management" > " Event Viewer"
Now, when you open this will find the way to fixing everything in your computer. When you start with Applications and look at what now should be absolute confusion. There should be RED’s, YELLOWS’s and nothing else makes sense. Good, were here. BG, this is the key to repair and to fix anything and it is so simple. First; Need to RIGHT click on the RED’s first. "Chose "Properties" and there is your explanation of what went wrong. Ha, Ha, ha,..Patience OK?
Every message you see is answered on the internet so either write it down or remember it.then close (Collapse) and open your browser and insert the message in search and you will find so many places to look for the answer. (best to chose the free site) With the "Event Viewer" still open you can go to the next and then submit that in the browser for more information.
If your patient and don’t have a life you have the ability to learn at every step and help others with a problem. There is more under the "Event Viewer" to explorer that becomes equally important.
Hope you have fun.
