germany cuts the keys and programs them and it takes 7 to 8 days to get them – plus you have too tow or your car to the dealer – its VIN thing
VW keys are only available at a stealership. A valet key costs $125.00, and a full key fob is $260.00. The car has to be present to program the key or fob to the car. I just paid for a valet key last month 🙁
You are correct in the rest of your question.
This is impossible, in car bluetooth is only used for Hands Free calling, it would be a major security risk to tie it into the motor, the only thing that you *might* be able to access with bluetooth is the GPS data.
Also, the car needs to be on for the bluetooth to work, so how are you supposed to steal it?
As for the laser cut keys, I am unsure. But how on earth did they find a laser to cut the keys anyway?
To the best of my knowledge that each key has a little chip that interfaces with the electronics inside the car, if the chip is changed, so must the electronics inside the car.
